The Niger Delta Citizens and Budget Platform (NDCBP) will organise Town Hall Meetings in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers States. The Town Hall Meetings shall provide opportunity for open discussions on analyses and monitoring reports on 2009 budgets of states, as well as proposed budgets for 2010.
The Town Hall Meetings shall be preceded by the public presentation of NDCBP’s report, Beyond Amnesty: Citizens Report of State and Local Government Budgets in the Niger Delta, on the 25 January, 2010. Venue of the public presentation is the Secretariat of the Bayelsa State NGO Forum (BANGOF) Secretariat.
